Welcome back to yet another exciting year of Scouting! Your leaders have been working hard all summer to plan the great year we have ahead of us. So many exciting events planned that you will have to check the calendar to see them all, but I'll list a few of them here to give you a preview:

  • Raingutter Ragatta – This is a small scale sailboat race held in a rain gutter.
  • Santa Parade – The one and only Santa parade in Coopersville!
  • Pinewood Derby – This is a small scale pine wood car race, that is sooo much fun that it can't be done in just one day!

What is Cub Scouts all about?

Cub Scouts is a program for first through fifth graders that teaches boys about the importance of Family, Faith, Community, and Country in a fun and exciting way.

I am a Scout…I am 88% less likely to drop out of high school. I am twice as likely to be a supervisor and leader. I am four times more likely to be an FBI agent. I am three times more likely to be an astronaut. I am twice as likely to graduate as an officer from one of our three military academies.
